ana isabel keilson is a graduate of barnard college/columbia university with honors in english literature and russian language. she has performed as a guest artist with the bill t jones/arnie zane dance company, david dorfman dance, PEARSONWIDRIG DANCETHEATER, nugent and matteson dance, lila york, and daniel mccusker and dancers. in collaboration with elena demyanenko, her work has been shown at the BRIC theater, the wow theater cafe and judson memorial church. independently, her work has been presented at populous by AUNTS (as part of the 2007 movement research festival) and Live Sh-- at the Chocolate Factory.  she is the organizer/founder of 'the zine,' a not-for-profit, DIY publication that seeks to create new spaces in print media for the exploration, presentation and promotion of  arts and ideas by dancers and performers.  in january 2008 she is presenting a new work at dixon place as part of the body blend series.
